Clifford Chance has promoted five of its lawyers in Asia to the position of counsel. Their new roles came into effect July 1 2008.

At the firm's Hong Kong office is Charlotte Robins of the corporate group. She specialises in regulatory matters.

In Shanghai are Kelly Gregory and Patrick Phua, of corporate and banking and finance respectively.

The Tokyo office's new consultants are Kenji Miyagawa, of the capital markets group, and Yemi Tepe, in banking and finance.
